Dr. Bhumesh Hirapara—also known as Dr. Boom—is the founder of BOOM Smiles and a proud local dentist who grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey. His passion for dentistry began early, following a high school internship where he discovered the unique blend of clinical care and business innovation that defines the field.
While his family owned a small liquor store, Dr. Boom chose to pursue his vision in dentistry—graduating from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2019 after completing his undergraduate studies at Drexel University. Within just six months of graduating, he applied his entrepreneurial mindset to acquire the patient charts and team of a closing practice, relocating and rebuilding from the ground up. During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Boom successfully constructed a brand-new, modern office—bringing his original team back together and launching what is now BOOM Smiles.
Today, Dr. Boom provides comprehensive, high-level care with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and advanced All-on-X full-arch implant surgeries. As an Invisalign® Silver Provider, he has extensive experience creating confident, beautifully aligned smiles through clear aligner therapy.
Known for his charismatic personality and genuine passion for helping people, Dr. Boom takes a personalized approach to care—tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of every patient. As a local dentist, he is deeply committed to giving back to the community, building lasting relationships through trust, transparency, and exceptional care.
Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with family, and exploring new restaurants throughout New York City.
